Are you an experienced and well-connected entrepreneur or founder of a digital start-up? At the innogy Innovation Hub, we're looking for highly motivated Venture Developers to build new internal companies "from scratch to spin-off" and to grow external start-ups within our identified opportunity spaces.

At innogy, we're working to unlock a smart, responsible and people powered future by developing new disruptive and innovative business models. As a Venture Developer, you will have a great opportunity to start and grow a start-up with all the responsibility of a business founder.

The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic to move into the start-up you have created in the role of founder and lead it to an exciting future. You would need to be able to demonstrate previous experience as a start-up entrepreneur or founder.

The Venture Developer is not one fixed role and has different levels of experiences and expertise.

Your tasks

- Develop your own ideas towards marketable products
- Build strong partnerships with start-ups to validate and grow their business model
- Develop compelling value propositions and collect customer feedback to rapidly adapt a product to market strategy
- Investigate economic conditions, relevant industry & market trends to guide decision- making processes and business model development
- Drive the growth of external and internal ventures through extensive sales capabilities
- Deliver pitches to Innovation Leadership team and external investors
- Develop and validate a business model of a sustainable long-term collaboration between innogy and start-up to create a sustainable growth business
- Take the responsibility for the financial planning, business development, project and product management, marketing, financial control
- Manage internal and external stakeholders proactively
