Unsere Story
74% of developers don’t receive meaningful feedback. Why? Because giving meaningful feedback is tough - for two reasons!
1) Knowing what to give feedback on is time-consuming and effortful
Yet, tech leaders are overwhelmed from juggling multiple responsibilities and thus lack the awareness of what’s specifically going on in their reports day-to-day as well as the time to go through their notes, Jira, GitHub etc. to collect all relevant insights.
2) Knowing how to deliver meaningful feedback requires vast soft-skills
Sadly, tech leaders often lack the necessary abilities to deliver feedback in a way that is empathetic, actionable, descriptive, specific, constructive etc.
As a result, every fifth employee is actively disengaged due to the lack of frequent and meaningful feedback. Ultimately, costing companies 34% of their respective salary - that is, if they’re not quitting directly, as learning & development is one of the top 2 reasons for software developers to quit their jobs.
