Unsere Story
It started as a concept to help translate sign language. Early attempts used cameras, and the person gesturing had to be in the line of sight of it at all times. The limitations with video processing almost changed the approach to the solution. Besides, using cameras limited the spatial usability of the solution.
After a couple of tries and early feedback, it was simplified to a single device that can track the hand motion in 3D by simply wearing it. This alternative solution, in fact, opened the doors to further applications aiding human motion analysis.
It challenges the current methods of Motion Capture, by using microsensors embedded in an armband, and getting rid of any video processing. Thus, it can work indoors and outdoors, with or without light, online or offline.
The algorithms of the device can be used to expand it onto other human tracking solutions based on the same principles of discretion, connectivity, data security, and reliability.
