There is no doubt that educational institutions need change, but are unable to realize it. These goals are shared by educational institutions worldwide, the EU Education Hub, the german goverment (Kultusministerium).
We found a solution: Creating a geographical map of the knowledge of humankind via crowd-sourcing learning-paths, while linking to free learning resources from the world's top universities.
Thus the LearnGraph not only makes the worlds highest quality free
content available as learning resources, but also enables life-long learning, by
having an extremely low entry barrier:
- no sign-up: start searching for what you want to learn immediately,
- zero cost: open-source software & crowd-sourcing based,
- find learners around the world that are on the same learning-path as you are: you are within a community of cultural diversity, but everyone focused on the same learning goal,
- no commitment to deadlines: do the certification at any time, there are no assumptions about the time you currently have available for learning in your situation in life,
- start learning at any time & from anywhere: all you need is an Internet connection.
