Rey is an easy-to-use and powerful no-code tool to create and launch native mobile apps. We believe in a world where the power of software creation is accessible to everyday people, not only those with technical skills or financial resources. With Rey, we're starting with apps for smartphones, the most universal computing platform today.

Globally, billions of us use smartphones, and 88% of our online time is spent in apps, yet the native app builder market is still vastly underserved. Existing tools are either highly advanced but way too complex for most people, or are beginner-friendly but severely limited in terms of what they can do. We believe that users need a tool that is both easy-to-use, yet still offers a high degree of creative freedom.

Herausforderungen

Rey is currently in pilot stage with our first paying customer (and several more in the pipeline.) Our first app will be live on the App Store and Play Store in January 2025.

Unsere Story

Hi! I'm Linh, the co-founder of Rey. The first 10 years of my career was in the mobile app industry. I joined an early stage startup called Blinkist as employee #3 and over the years I have helped scale the app from launch to 25 million users. In all that time, there was this one question that I kept thinking about, which is: Why is it so incredibly complex and expensive to build mobile apps?

If you want to build a mobile app today, you're faced with a choice of either spending months learning to code, or thousands of euros upfront to hire developers. And this is just for launching the MVP alone.

I believe that mobile app creation should be more accessible to people, and that’s why I started Rey. Right now, I'm looking for a technical co-founder to join me on this mission.
