Unser Angebot

Fellows modernized self-help, making it accessible, effective, and stigma-free. We offer a unique platform for digital self-help groups, providing users with the option for anonymous, flexible, and accessible mental health support. It creates a space where people can connect and share experiences on a variety of topics, from general well-being to niche life challenges. Unlike other self-help groups, Fellows is guided by psychologists, ensuring professional expertise and high-quality support. By removing traditional barriers like long wait times and social discomfort, Fellows makes it easier for anyone to find a supportive community.

Zielgruppe

Everyone—because everyone experiences phases in life where connecting with others in similar situations can be valuable. Whether it’s pregnancy, the loss of a parent, identity struggles, physical illness,... The list is long. Fellows provides a space for support and exchange.

Herausforderungen

The main challenge is reaching more people and growing a community so that self-help groups can successfully form and thrive. Additionally, scaling the platform requires marketing efforts and strategic partnerships. In the future, tech experts could help improve the website and user experience to enhance accessibility and engagement.

Unsere Story

As a psychologist i realized that traditional self-help groups often come with significant limitations. Many of these groups are local, which makes it difficult to find participants for niche topics. They are often run by peers without professional expertise, which can result in a lack of effective support. In some cases, the issues themselves prevent people from joining—such as social anxiety in a group setting. Additionally, people in rural areas may hesitate to join, fearing they might run into people they know, and the general perception of self-help groups can often feel outdated, with images of chair-circles and filtercoffee. I wanted to create an online platform that overcomes these challenges, offering expert-guided, flexible, and anonymous self-help groups, no matter the location or topic. Fellows aims to modernize self-help, making it accessible, effective, and stigma-free.
