A St. Clair College graduate in electrical engineering, Johann’s career took off at Unitron, where he built one of the Internet's oldest websites.
In 1995, he moved to Germany with his wife, Magdalene, and contributed to eCommerce platforms, including GreenProfi and Quibiq. Relocating to Israel in 2005, Johann worked with Spidertech, developing a seismic detection system, and developed Operant Systems, a patented platform for aiding therapists in training autistic children, now widely used across the U.S.
Returning to Germany, Johann shifted focus to Android development, contributing to apps like NBC Sports (2016 Rio Olympics), TD Bank, and Motel One. Widowed in 2010, Johann lives in Moers, Germany, near Düsseldorf.
