Introduction

Currently building a deep tech startup in the energy industry: The electrical grids are one of the biggest bottlenecks for a fast energy transition. Millions of new energy assets like solar panels, charging stations for electric vehicles and heat pumps are being connected to the low voltage grid, leading to new peak loads that the grid is not designed for. Hence, this will lead to overloads, damages and in the worst case outages if no action is taken.

To tackle this challenge, FION aims to assist grid operators in ensuring grid security by effectively orchestrating the electric energy consumption and generation of those assets based on accurate grid monitoring.
