Introduction
Hi all, I am Zahhar. I am from Estonia, I am not young, not old – 41y, living in Switzerland since 2016 with my wife.
I spent all my professional life in the ICT industr. Bakc in home country I was mostly founding & trying to grow my own business: 1) web agency (closed as unable to scale), 2) eCommerce development factory (closed due to low demand after large marketplaces emerged) 3) online shop with creative/fun gifts (sold due to high maintenance / low profitability) 4) online shop with construction materials (minor stake, sold to major stakeholders) 5) construction information portal (minor stake, sold to major stakeholders) 6) startup - platform for tenants/home owners (too early on the market).
In Switzerland I worked as IT Project/Delivery manager for Swiss Life Group, Swiss Re, UBS, Glarner Kantonabank and others.
I have not much hobbies outside IT: I like to snowboard in winter, and in summer I am engaged into never-ending renovation project of my house.
