What you bring to the team

We're looking for someone to help us create the foundations of our SaaS startup. Working together with our product owner, you'll focus on getting our first products in front of customers, but you'll also be helping establish the team culture and be directly involved with other decisions like branding and marketing.

You're a well-organised and careful full-stack developer that knows how to build quick demos and flesh them out into an MVP. You take responsibility for your work, and work with the rest of the team to make sure you're delivering the right thing at the right time.

You can set up, deploy, and maintain a full stack on AWS or GCP. You use a stack that is simple and reliable, but also scalable. You commit regularly and are used to working with other developers to deploy products.

You might not have been a senior developer yet, but you have experience with managing your own tasks on Jira, Github, or Gitlab. You're used to converting vague requirements or ideas into tickets.

After a few years of working in a team or as a freelancer, you're ready to take the next step in your career. We'd love to hear from you!
You have strengths in...
  • words and communication
  • organizing and keeping stuff tidy
  • pushing and getting things done
  • structuring and strategic thinking
You already have...
  • worked as fulltime employee

What awaits you

You'll be our first full-time developer and responsible for implementing existing Figma designs and other documentation into a functioning MVP. We'll work closely with you to do this!

You'll take the lead on helping turning the rest of the founder team - a mix of mechanical engineers and business people - into a team that understand how to deploy and build a SaaS product.

You'll be responsible for getting code deployed regularly so that front and back-end functions can be tested and improved. You'll help us identify the critical functionality that needs to be in place first so that we can add fancy stuff later.

You'll also be a cofounder, so expect to be asked about marketing, finances, business development, and all of the rest of the things that belong to setting up a startup, too. You should be ready to be challenged and to learn with us as we grow together.

We can't tell you much more without revealing who we are, so if you are interested, please reach out and we can talk.

What we offer you

We're an international, multi-gender team that values diversity. We can offer a hybrid work environment with opportunities for personal growth. The team is bilingual (english / german). Because we have a lot of interactions with government, it's important that you be fluent in German.

We've got government funding until 2025. We'd like you to start as soon as possible, but can be flexible to meet your needs.

For the right person there's the opportunity to get a significant amount of real or virtual shares.

We'll talk about salary, etc. in a call.

We strive to be family friendly and encourage applications from persons from non-traditional backgrounds, or after career breaks.

Please make sure when you contact us, that you tell us why you think you could be the right person!
