About our project
We nourish the future by leveraging the power of microalgae!
At Prevo we nourish the future! We do so through innovating in sustainable protein fermentation and production from microalgae cells. We strive to ensure food security and smooth transition to Net-Zero food systems by replacing protein sources that damage our environment, like animal-based proteins (beef, chicken, etc) and plant-based proteins (like soy). We produce an innovative protein and fat ingredient based on microalgae to be the basis of new food products like meat. This ingredient combines texture, mouthfeel, nutritional superiority and sustainability, therefore offering a serious alternative to animal-based and plant-based proteins. Used by food producers in their food products, this ingredient enables mass adoption of non-animal proteins, thus not only achieving environmental impact at scale, but also supporting the wellbeing of our consumers.
Challenges
The biggest three upcoming challenges are:1. Acquire funding to finance our product development
2. Develop an end consumer - product for our first market entry

Target group
Our primary target audience are food producers looking for nutritious and sustainable protein ingredients for their alternative food products.But we also plan to create a B2C brand, by developing our own new food products upgraded with our ingredient.
