Product Lead Software wanted for Biotech Startup

### Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in software development, including web platforms and APIs in high-growth tech companies (Start-ups / scale-ups)
- 3 years of experience in software design and architecture.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and Python.
- Ability to fluently communicate in English and German (preferable).

### Preferable qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role, managing teams of software engineers.
- Experience working with microcontrollers, sensors and actuators.
- Experience designing and implementing any of the following: APIs and SDK’s used by other developers, data and ML (Machine Learning) systems.

- Lead the research, design, development, testing and maintenance of the Mo:re web platform.
- Support the hardware team in the development Mo:re’s device firmware.
- Support the team in the necessary customer facing activities.
- Supervise both individual and team priorities and milestones.

- Lead the development of cutting-edge software solutions for our lab platform. The software contains a user interface to automatically design cell culture experiments, algorithms controlling the mo:re lab robot, machine learning-based quality control of the organoids
- Shape the product strategy and roadmap, aligning it with our vision to transform drug development.

Founded in 2023 and based in Hamburg, we are on a mission to establish the new gold standard for organoid-based drug development, ultimately aiming to eliminate the need for animal studies. Our innovative lab platform empowers organizations to conduct organoid cell culture studies, offering a cost-effective, faster, and more compliant alternative to traditional animal testing.

Challenges

Having closed our Seed Funding round, we will begin the commercialization of our product in Q4 2024. For this, our software platform needs to be expanded.
