Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

- Finalize initial marketing efforts by creating lead magnets for each product, automated email follow-up sequences, and selecting primary communication channels.
- Launch inbound marketing campaigns and create ad campaigns to boost traffic to landing pages/lead magnets.
- Set up continuous marketing optimization systems to monitor and improve the performance of campaigns and expand communication channels.
- Optimize systems for marketing scaling.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive subscription growth.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team to execute the sales strategy.
- Identify and engage with potential third-party partners and resellers to expand the company's reach.
- Build and optimize conversion funnels for resellers and oversee direct outreach campaigns.

Team Leadership:

- Lead the marketing and sales teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and effective execution of strategies.
- Hire, train, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide regular performance feedback and support the professional growth of team members.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

- Set up systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives.
- Continuously optimize messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategies based on performance data.

Partnership Development:

- Identify target audiences for resellers, build profiles, and align communication strategies.
- Launch marketing campaigns to recruit resellers and continuously optimize outreach messages and conversion funnels.

The compensation for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) / VP of Sales role includes a blend of equity, bonuses, and sales commissions designed to align incentives with company performance and individual contributions. Below is a detailed overview of the compensation components, ensuring a comprehensive and motivating package for our prospective CMO/VP of Sales.

In recognition of the critical role the CMO/VP of Sales will play in the early stages of our growth, we offer an exclusive opportunity to earn higher compensation. During this initial phase, before the establishment of a fully staffed sales department, the CMO/VP of Sales is eligible to receive the totality of the payable commissions. This unique arrangement ensures that the efforts and contributions of the CMO/VP of Sales are fully rewarded, providing a strong financial incentive to drive early sales and establish a robust foundation for future growth.

Compensation details:

Equity:

- Equity Share: 8% vested over 4 years with a 1-year cliff.

Bonuses:

- Executive Bonus:
-- All executives share 2% of net company profits yearly.
-- Bonus is calculated pro-rata based on the position dates if not employed for the full year.

- Employee Bonus:
-- All employees, including executives, share 3% of net company profits yearly.
-- Bonus is calculated pro-rata based on employment dates if not employed for the full year.


Sales Commissions:

All sales commissions are based on net sales results:

- Net Sales Result: {Gross Income} - {Sales Taxes} - {Third Party Reseller Commissions}

The Net Sales Result is split into two commission pools:

- Acquisition Pool:
-- New customer net sales result (new acquisitions)
-- Commission Rate: 20% (+5% if goal reached)

- Recurring Pool:
-- Existing customer net sales result (recurring subscription, upsells)
-- Commission Rate: 10% (+5% if goal reached)

Each sales team member is assigned value points based on their position:

- Intern: 4 points
- Representative: 6 points
- Manager: 8 points
- Lead: 10 points

Commission Calculation:

- Money Amount for Each Pool = ({Pool Value} * {Pool Commission} / {Total Number of Points across the Whole Team} * {Personal Number of Points}) - {Commission/Employment Taxes (if applicable)}
- Total Commission Paid = Sum of calculated money amounts per pool.

Commission payments are subject to applicable employment or other taxes based on your location and contract type.

We also added the Affiliate Platform to allow automated reselling of our subscriptions by third-party partners.

Things left to do at this stage:

- Finalize the initial marketing:

-- Outreach to the target profiles with appropriate messages directly,
-- Launch a marketing campaign to recruit the resellers,
-- Implement message/funnel optimizations and tracking to continuously supervise the partners' outreach.

All the above leads to the conclusion: we need to build our marketing and sales departments to execute the above plan and start sales growth.

So the appropriate team extension is required at this point to allow exponential growth.
