Our Story
In an age of customisation, we, millennial parents, have become accustomed to a way of life that celebrates unique experiences, bespoke engineering of our individuality, and increasingly our partnered lives.
WFG is a firm dedicated to thinking about the support and challenges of millennium parents. What began as a dialogue-driven podcast that provided insight into the lives of millennial fathers called, "Dad's Who Care", has now morphed to focusing on the wanderlust experience of traveling as young parents with your infant(s) or toddler(s).
These experiences were marked by family trips taken by co-founders Abbey Odunlami and Sway Clarke. From July to November, Sway Clarke and his young family traveled to Canada, Jamaica, and Portugal. Abbey Odunlami and his family traveled to the United States, Costa Rica, Panama, and Columbia from November to March. While both on their trips, they documented the experience of traveling with a toddler meticulously and began to brainstorm how to solve some of the issues and the lack of services they encountered along the way. After months of deliberation and conceptualizing, they gave birth to; KAYO, an AI-focused, data-driven parent assistant and travel partner.
With KAYO, you'll be able to travel safely which your child or children with curated itineraries which keep your child's specific age and needs in mind. KAYO boasts features such as; recommending activities, helping you to navigate to destinations, determining the child safety rating of hotels and other areas you'd frequent as a parent, and you'll be guaranteed that all the information of KAYO will be parent reviewed with the same level of assurance which academic research is peer-reviewed. It is handy when you need to find any kid-friendly place both on vacation - and locally.
Our core and general demographic are millennial parents. However, within that demographic dads, there are two distinctive groups. The first is urban parents who are on the go. Tech-savvy parents that are comfortable using all the parenting information at their fingertips. Some of these are moms and dads that don't necessarily need or use social media to connect but instead want to access information and ignite experiences. The second is traveling families, some even traveling multigenerational. And as traveling is ramping up again (called "revenge traveling"), family travel is more of the most robust travel industry sector.
