Our Story
In 2001, I founded my first start up. It was a band. With social pressure, we disbanded and went our separate ways to colleges. 17 years as a UX Designer, I'm now at a position where I believe I can help others with their music dreams. I came to find out I myself have General Anxiety Disorder which is the second largest mental health issue in the world. To ease my anxiety I create, play, and write my own songs. Instead of merely launching my own music, I thought what if I could help others that are in-between jobs publish their own music and make economic gains from it? After helping 25+ mentees over the past 4 years design and test their own ideas, I thought Why shouldn't I? So, I founded HummDrum.com that helps those with General Anxiety Disorder soothe their anxiety through active music playing, because active is more soothing than passive music listening.
