Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Technology Officer. The Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day technology operations, leading software development and product development initiatives, managing projects, and defining and implementing IT strategies and architectures.

Qualifications

Strong background in Software Development and Product Development
Experience in Project Management
Expertise in IT Strategy and Architecture
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Knowledge of sustainability practices and technologies is a plus
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

1. Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar senior technical leadership role, preferably in a startup
environment.
2. Strong background in software development, cloud computing, and data analytics.
3. Familiarity with carbon calculation and offsetting technologies and concepts is a plus.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. A passion for sustainability and a commitment to addressing climate change.
