We are working on a EXIST proposal to get the funding for our automated manufacturing line.
Our Story
We have set ourselves the goal of establishing sustainable lightweight construction materials based on flax and hemp fibers as well as biopolymers. To this end, we have developed a more efficient manufacturing process that is significantly more sustainable and flexible than conventional production processes. We have already demonstrated the feasibility of this in our research projects and have also shown it using a container for cargo bikes (https://www.uni-stuttgart.de/universitaet/aktuelles/meldungen/Lastenrad-Container-aus-Flachsfasern/). We are currently working on developing a pilot system suitable for series production. We have already made initial contact with various companies and have met with great interest. We are currently working on an EXIST application for research transfer so that we can realize a production plant as quickly as possible.
