Maximize synergies between renewables & e-mobility via AI-powered algorithm, power, mobility data & APIs to steer EV charging & discharging. /
As part of the founding team, you are part of the board and partake in strategic decision making. You are here for a multi-year journey to transform both the mobility and energy sectors.
We are looking for a full-time data scientist and backend developer who can help us to develop the best algorithm and bring the algorithm to a webserver environment and enable a real-time interaction with the system. Ideally you can do both. If you can do either it is still interesting to apply.
In the beginning, the solution consists of an API for a charging station or a vehicle backend depending on the electric fleet use case. It will send start and stop requests based on a charging schedule that is computed by our algorithm that optimizes for the lowest electricity costs taking the mobility duty cycle, charging infrastructure, vehicles charging parameters, EPEX, grid services and possibly local PV system data. As every fleet managing company has different vehicles or charging stations have different backends new APIs will be coded for new customers.
In the medium and long term, we will not only interconnect to private charging stations but also public ones. We will coordinate the creation of a front-end app for users to insert their routes. We will suggest routes for the lowest electricity costs. Once vehicles allow to discharge the batteries, we will be able to trade electricity based on the forecasted mobility duty cycle, EPEX, grid and solar pv systems data.
This position will evolve in a team leadership role. You will hire and lead a team. The algorithm needs to be improved with the service. The optimal IT architecture according to the market restrictions and growth in different geographies and segments will have to be chosen. There will be customers, partners and investors meetings.
