Our Story
The first inspiration came while taking the same walk during COVID for the 5th time - it got boring. We wanted to experience our surroundings in a new fashion and learn more about the buildings, small details and personal stories along the way.
We identified a market gap between podcasts and audio guides. Podcasts have an arguably small consumer immersion and are mostly consumed at home or while commuting. Audio guides on the other sides lack the social attractiveness of influencers and content creators. Additionally, they are majorly focused on sight-seeing and fixed routes.
By combining both worlds, we plan to develop a mobile app, which creates an augmented reality through location based audio content. By being at the same location as the content creator, it is possible to feel very connected and be immersed into their world. Themes for such content can range from comedy (e.g. Mauerpark walk with Felix Lobrecht), culture (e.g. Hamburger Kiez with Udo Lindenberg) or health (meditation walks, workouts) up to information and exploration of restaurants, public spaces, museums, architecture and history.
