There are no magical fixes - nothing in this world worth having comes easy.
Intro / About me
I'm a german physician currently working in the broad field of anaesthesiology. I gained experiences working in medical research (focus on diabetology and metabolic diseases), am involved in student teaching and regularly holding presentations - still, I'm now looking for new exciting challenges.
Broad knowledge of the german healthcare system - built on experience as a paramedic, as a medical student, as a teacher, as a researcher and as a clinician.
Introduction
I am a 32 years old physician with experiences in the field of research and clinical work (anaesthesiology and rescue medicine). Especially as a clinician I gained experiences in different hospitals, in the prehospital care (as a paramedic before and during medical school), in teaching and in holding specialist lectures. Due to outstanding results regarding the first 2 years of medical school, I recieved a full scholarship for the remaining 4 years.
Nonetheless, over the years I got a growing desire to invest myself in other (useful) directions - whether in the broad field of healthcare or not.
Why so? Different conditions in the clinical setting made me feel 'unfree' (e.g. financial, directive or bureaucratic burdens) and I got the impression, I should find other ways to improve life for my patients - or people in general. Thus, even though I am 'just a doctor', I am eager to learn how to contribute my knowledge and to invest my resilience and learning ability into new projects.
