What you bring to the team

We are
• a startup in the pre-vesting phase and are currently preparing for a seed investment
• looking for long-term team members as an extended founding team, who are willing to master short term difficulties such as “no-cash-until-vested” for a couple of months and want to build an investment for the future that has a huge growth potential
• a team of 4 people (2 with technical / dev background and 2 with focus on business development, relations, sales)
We plan
• to build a global B2C platform, with consumer product businesses being our customers
• to grow the company to a team of 10-15 people (currently 4) in the next year
• to get a seed funding partner in Q3 2019
• to move into an office in the Darmstadt / Frankfurt area in the next months
How we work
• We use agile development methodologies (currently: daily remote "huddle" meeting, 4 week sprints, tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• The development team currently consists of one of the co-founders and a senior developer, both having a technical background and having worked as software engineers for years
• Our topmost development priority is quality: We develop under Clean Code principles, do never turn prototypes into production, have a thorough review culture and want to be our best selves as professionals
You bring
• an entrepreneurial spirit, the will and ability to take risks (remember, we cannot pay cash until we are vested!)
• the will to participate in the development of a new company, business model
and especially the technology platform
You are
• constantly evaluating new technologies, frameworks and languages and choose the best tool for the job, rather than being a total expert in only one and trying to fit every problem to it
• an analytical mind, problem solver and team player with a wide variety of technical skills, which could include e.g.:
o Web development using Javascript / Node.js / React, Angular, Vue, CSS
o General development / scripting skills like Git, Linux system administration, bash scripting, python, curl, Chrome dev tools
o Network configuration
o Deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and experience with various cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and build pipelines (CI/CD with Bitbucket, Jenkins)
It is less important to have tons of experience with these skills, but more important to be confident to get all the jobs done in a professional manner, be a fast learner, and acquire the necessary skills on the fly!

What we offer you

We offer:
• a share based compensation as an interim solution, to be extended with cash based compensation once the seed investment has occurred
• You will be able to work remotely (with occasional in-person meetings one or two times a week for maximum 3 hours in the Frankfurt / Taunus area)
