What we offer
Premium plugins for business websites powered by WordPress. Add-ons to a website that save you time and money while boosting your performance.
Target group
Businesses that use WordPress to power their websites, especially:
- Websites with high user engagement,
- Niche oriented publishers,
- Travel industry-related publishers,
- Professional vacation rental managers,
- Niche E-commerce websites,
- How-to websites,
- Online magazines.
Common criteria:
- High number of comments/reviews/user interactions;
- The business model depends on a higher number of page views (publishers who sell ad space) and/or selling a variety of products/services to their target audience;
- WordPress CMS used to build the website.
Challenges
We've covered the tech parts of the software as a service model:
- Product development, testing;
- Subscription model, pricing, license management, authorizations;
- tech support, documentation;
- analytics, reports, primary KPIs tracking.
We also added the Affiliate Platform to allow automated reselling of our subscriptions by third-party partners.
Things left to do at this stage:
- Finalize the initial marketing:
-- Create lead magnets for each product offered,
-- Create automated email follow-up sequences to move leads toward the purchase,
-- Select the primary communication channel and launch an inbound marketing campaign,
-- Create ad campaigns and boost traffic to landing pages/lead magnets.
- Set up continuous marketing optimization:
-- Set up systems to monitor the performance of the above and implement rotation of messages (conversion pages/ads) to optimize marketing performance.
-- Set up systems to expand the communication channels and monitor their performance/message rotation,
-- Optimize the above systems to get ready for marketing scaling.
- Build third-party partners network:
-- Identify the target audience (resellers) and build profiles,
-- Align communication with target profiles,
-- Build conversion funnels,
-- Outreach to the target profiles with appropriate messages directly,
-- Launch a marketing campaign to recruit the resellers,
-- Implement message/funnel optimizations and tracking to continuously supervise the partners' outreach.
All the above leads to the conclusion: we need to build our marketing and sales departments to execute the above plan and start sales growth.
So the appropriate team extension is required at this point to allow exponential growth.
Our Story
TechSpokes was originally founded by Jeffrey Tucker (technology consultant) and Rob Kvidt (marketing director) as a marketing consulting company in the tourism industry. Having most clients in the vacation rental industry at the time, TechSpokes founders quickly realized the need for technology solutions to keep up with evolving marketing in the industry. In 2011 Serge Liatko joined the company as a co-founder/CTO to allow TechSpokes to develop software solutions for the vacation rental industry.
Besides the primary solution (booking engine website as a service), we have also developed several premium tools to help our clients be more productive in their daily website operations and save time and money.
As the original founders are getting ready to retire in late 2024, Serge Liatko decided to extend the provided solutions palette to reach a wider range of customers (outside the vacation rental industry) and release publicly the complimentary software solutions we have developed for our clients.
The above resulted in an online store launch in May 2024 where we offer licenses as a subscription (SaaS) to access our tools. Currently only one plugin: AI Comment Moderator is offered through the store. But we have more ready to be released.
All tools are currently deployed on our clients' websites (clients of TechSpokes) and have proven their efficiency and business value to the website owners since their launch. Now it's time to put our plugins to the market and grow the "side project" into a separate start-up company ready to expand.
